One of my more intense rants

My best friend just happens to be a genius.

themkoolkats:

Why did the chicken cross the road?

is such. a stupid. question.

First of all, do we really care? Some random chicken crosses the road somewhere in the world and suddenly everybody just HAS to know why?

Secondly, why chickens? Out of all the animals. We chose chickens. I should  move back to India. Back there we have cows crossing the roads. Not stupid chickens like here.

And three. Do chickens even cross roads? And if they do, do they make it all the way across? Doubt it.

Four, I don’t understand why people would want to hear a lame joke about a chicken crossing a road when instead they should be worried about why there are chickens on the lose just. crossing roads all over the place. I think that’s an issue.

Fively, how do we know that chicken looked both ways before crossing the street? Soon kids everywhere are gonna be like “HEY LOOK IM LIKE THAT ONE CHICKEN WHO CROSSED THE STREET. Let’s NOT look both ways YAYYY” Those were some good kids. Til’ that chicken crossed the street.

So that’s it. Why did the chicken cross the road? To show us that this whole bird species was a mistake. To boost its self esteem-it can’t fly but it can sure cross roads.

Well in my own words, the chicken crossed the road so that it could never come back again. that’s right. never.
